About

Ars Notoria

Ars Notoria is a small lab that trains open-weight language models for people who write: roleplay, interactive fiction, and long-form prose. Every model we publish ships with its weights, its recipe, and the terms of the data it learned from.

The name is a real thirteenth century book that promised grammar, rhetoric, and memory through the study of figures. A book of magic whose whole point was learning to write. Weights live on Hugging Face; the method, the ledger, and the benchmarks live here.
